Today we focus on the CORE - the strong column that allows our limbs to interact with the world. For simplicity, think of the core as two canisters, one inside the other. The inner can is the deep layer, mostly responsible for stabilization. The inner can includes: pelvic floor, transverse abdominis (TVA), multifidus, quadratus lumborum (QL), diaphragm, internal obliques. Due to our modern day life the muscles of the inner core is often weak. The outer can is the superficial layer, these muscles are the "movers". The superficial layer includes: erector spinae, external obliques, latissimus dorsi, serratus anterior, lower trapezius, rectus abdominis, and glutes! Let's strengthen the deep core and get moving
