In today's class we focus on the scapula (shoulder blades), and one of the most important muscles that stabilize the scapula on the back ribs, the serratus anterior. The connection between the scapula and back ribs can be considered a "pseudo" joint as it's bones coming together, although they don't have synovial fluid between them. Isolating a particular area of the body can sometimes be frustrating because we're used to compensating and we might notice that isolation can be hard. Give yourself a break and hang in there!
